The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen is a story where what you think may or may not matter. Everyone is hiding something or the other. Both the writers are experts at slow burn Mystery. They up the game on twists, both jarring and subtle, plotted at uneven places, keeping us off centre in the most ideal manner. The complexities of how the story finally arranges is so tight, very much crafted, and more than just satisfying. I was turning around pages to reread with the new information, then finally a full reread. The main thing better would have been somebody to converse with making this an incredible buddy read or Bookclub pick. I give this my highest recommendation!
